New SIGN-ON Security for Online Banking via Connect@Home
Over the next few weeks, you will gradually start to see prompts when signing onto our online banking service, called Connect@Home. The prompts will ask you to register onto a new layer of additional security. This new layer of security is called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). It is being added to add protective measures to protect against fraudulent online attacks, like "Phishing" (aka malicious requests for your personal information). Here's what Multi-Factor Authentication means to you.
1. You will register and select an image and phrase known only to you for future sign-on approval.
2. There will be VISIBLE AUTHENTICATION - images you will see, so that you are certain it is the Credit Union's online banking site you are entering.
3. There is INVISIBLE AUTHENTICATION - where the security layer recognizes your home and/or work PC (it can recognize more if needed).
4. In addition, there is SUPPLEMENTAL AUTHENTICATION - which will only be necessary in instances where you use a new PC, or one that your MFA does not recognize, etc..., and then you will be asked a secret question that you registered to respond to. Once authentication is complete, you will be able to proceed.
It's easy to complete the registration. We ask for your patience as this new process is begun. Ultimately, the few moments you take to register for MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION (MFA), the better protected you will be. We hope and trust you see the value in taking these measures to add to your current protection for online banking at the Credit Union. Thank you.

Prevail Updating This Web Site: New-Look & Features Launch in Late-September
Prevail's web site is changing its look, as well as adding new features the site has not enjoyed previously. The new-look is set to launch in late-September. The new features include:

Personalize Your Prevail VISA Credit Card - Design Your Own Card - Available Now!
Prevail VISA credit card holders may now DESIGN YOUR OWN CARD - by either using images from an existing library or import an image of your choosing to adorn the face of your Prevail VISA card. For only $8.95, you may purchase the change to the image on your card. To submit a change to your Prevail VISA, you will need to have:
1. Access to Connect@Home - Prevail's online banking
2. Pay $8.95 per change
3. Approval of any image you submit for use, as it must pass the test and not include trademarked images nor contain content inappropriate for use by the card producers
